About me!

Hi! I’m Marlow! My pronouns are they/them and I’m an artist of hispanic heritage. I’m currently 21 years old and majoring in Gender and Sexuality studies in college. I am formerly an art major but I still have much passion for character design, worldbuilding, and expressive pieces. I love drawing characters of my own and from my favorite media!
Most the illustrations shown on my Instagram account are either fan art, commissions, or art based around my personal characters.

Explanation of shading types:
Flat: No shading. May have subtle highlights!
Cell Shading: Flat shaded edges. Has basic highlights and shadows.
Soft Shading: Carefully and softly blended edges. May include multiple tones of shadow/highlight. Takes time!

Headshot
Just your character’s head and neck!

Flat: $15

Bust
Your character’s head and neck as well as shoulders!

Halfbody
Goes down to the waist!

NOTE: Your commission comes free with a simple/pattern background! You may request a PNG version or PNG-friendly background elements (see headshot examples) if desired!

Extra character in drawing: +Half the price

Custom Designs
A fullbody of a character custom to you! Comes standard with the character and a color key.

Sketch Custom: $30
Clean Custom: $40-$60
Extras (added in same canvas as initial design)
Headshot: $15
Backside/other side: $25
Other details(eye ref, hands, tails, etc): $5-10 per detailAnything else? Just ask and I’ll give you a quote!

Terms Of Service

Basics

- All prices are in USD. Prices are subject to change, as well as these terms of service.- You may message me on Instagram, Twitter, Discord, or via email to inquire about a commission. @ LavenderGroves on all handles!- You must provide a clear, unshaded reference or drawing of the character you would like me to draw for your commission.- I have the right to decline your commission for any reason.- I may post your commission on my social medias or use it as an example on this site! This will come with credit to you, the character owner or commissioner. If you do not want me to post your commission, let me know.- My turnaround time for commissions can be anywhere between 1 and 5 weeks. If I am unable to complete your commission within this time, I will let you know.- I will send you progress updates as I work on your commission! Please let me know if I need to make changes during this progress. (Will typically be: Sketch -> Lines -> Flat colors -> Shading)- Please credit me or provide a link back to my socials if you use or re-upload my artwork anywhere!- My commission work is meant for personal use. Ask me first for permission to my artwork commercially. I may decline.- You are paying for a digital piece of artwork! The final piece will be emailed to you. If you’d like to print your piece, that will fall into your own hands.- You absolutely may NOT use my artwork for NFTs. Also, please do not upload my work to AI sites. If I find out you are doing this, you will be permanently blacklisted.

Payment

- I accept payment via Paypal, Cashapp, and Venmo.- You are expected to pay before I begin the commission. This way, your commission slot is secure.- You may tip if you’d like, but it isn’t expected! Though, it is greatly appreciated!- If I am unable or unwilling to complete your commission for any reason, I will offer a full or partial refund, depending on how far along the process I was.
